Middle Backend Developer (PHP, Magento) in Scimus

As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web products, APIs. You will help maintain existing eCommerce architecture and write new applications and services for users that are doing their purchases online. You will work closely with the Support Team and other engineering teams to implement the company’s business initiatives.

We are working on a platform eCommerce ecosystem that serves around 2 million people in the US. The project has around 15 different applications running(and growing) in order to create the best experience for our customers as well as owners of a business. Market expansion and new features/services are the main priority for a company right now, so we are always looking for motivated people to join a team to be able to serve incoming market demand.
Responisbilities

• Be part of the project Support team which maintains different applications
• Be a proactive team member that willing to quickly solve customers requests 
• Maintain and develop scalable and reliable backend applications
• API development
• Understand & operate various 3rd party web tools/services/platforms
• Suggest & implement web-based solutions for business needs
• Be proactive and responsive for incoming requests
• Show enthusiasm for your job!

Skills And Qualifications

• 2+ years professional engineering experience
• Strong understanding of data flow in the protocol
• Proficiency in PHP
• Experience with Magento 2 platform is highly desired
• Understanding of MVC pattern and EAV data model
• Good knowledge of Laravel/Symfony frameworks (one or two of those)
• Experience with raw PHP coding (without frameworks, legacy code)
• Experience with MySQL, Redis
• Strong Git and GitHub skills
• REST API Development
• Strong communication skills (ask questions, propose solutions, teamwork!)
• Ability to learn quickly (fast learner)
  English level - A2-B1
