Middle Back End Engineer in Beetroot

Our client is a dynamic and innovative software development company specializing in providing cutting-edge solutions for architectural design professionals. You will be working under the guidance of a senior engineer, joining a team emphasizing backend and frontend integration. The team operates with daily stand-ups, ensuring consistent progress and focus on solution-oriented discussions.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex problems and enjoys working in a collaborative yet independent environment. You’ll contribute directly to projects that have a meaningful impact on society while being part of a forward-thinking company that values innovation and minimal bureaucratic overhead.

What you’ll do in this role

• Develop and implement rules in our rule engine to align with Swedish construction regulations.
• Collaborate with the team to devise effective solutions and strategies, while also being capable of driving your own work forward independently.
• Engage in minimal meetings, focusing primarily on technical matters to maximize productivity.

Tech Stack:

• Primary: Node.js, TypeScript
• Secondary:: AWS CDK, BabylonJS, Fastify, NextJS, .NET, C#, Revit, Lambdas

We’re looking for

• 3-5 experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Ability to work autonomously and take initiative in problem-solving.
• Strong capability in logical thinking and algorithm development.
• Excellent collaborative skills, able to integrate effectively with a mixed-skills team.
• Passionate about delivering high-quality, efficient solutions with a focus on environmental sustainability.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
