Middle Android Developer in Everstar

Now we are looking for a Middle Android Developer for our client, which is one of the largest developers and manufacturers of UAVs for the defense needs of Ukraine. The company has assembled a strong team of engineers, designers and specialists in Hardware, QA, RF that create products that help the military achieve its goals. In-house production facilities enable rapid implementation of changes and ideas Required skills and experience: 3+ years of Android application development experience Experience involved in the development and publication of at least one commercial Android application Good knowledge of the Android platform and application lifecycle Understanding and experience using architectural patterns (MVP, MVVM). Experience with Java and Kotlin. Android SDK: Ability to use the main SDK components. Android Jetpack: experience with ViewModel, LiveData, Room and other components. UI/UX: Understanding of Material Design principles and experience creating user interfaces. Build tools: Experience with Gradle. API integration: Experience with RESTful API, using Retrofit libraries, OkHttp. Databases: Experience with SQLite, Room. Testing: Basics of writing unit tests (JUnit) and UI- tests (Espresso).Git: Experience with the version control system Git.Dependency Injection: Basics of using Dagger or Hilt.Asynchrony: Experience with Kotlin Coroutines or RxJava.Internationalization: Basics of building applications with support for multiple languages.Security: Understanding of basic security principles programs. Ability to work in a team and interact with colleagues. Good communication skills to interact with the team and managers. Ability to solve tasks under deadlines. Future responsibilities: Design, develop and maintain an Android application that configures and communicates with system devices. Creating an intuitive and attractive graphical user interface (GUI) for the application. Using appropriate APIs and SDKs to interact with the device hardware (HID devices, Wi-Fi, sensors, cameras, etc.). Ensuring data exchange between the application and other system components or by third-party applications. Conducting functional testing, unit testing and integration testing of the application. Identifying and correcting errors, optimizing the performance of the application. Writing clear and detailed code documentation, including comments, API instructions and user guides. Preparation of technical documentation, including architecture description application, sequence diagrams and other technical specifications. Regular updating of the application to ensure compatibility with new versions of Android and maintain functionality relevance. Attending team meetings and participating in the discussion and decision-making process of the project.
