PROJECT: LottieFiles is a micro animation design company that features a mobile-based platform that enables designers to share, test, and iterate micro animations. Its software platform specialises in digital art, motion graphics, web design, and app design. The company was founded in 2018 and headquartered in San Francisco, California, United States.
LottieFiles assembled one of the largest communities in our industry with over a million raving fans from over 250,000+ companies (Google, TikTok, Disney, Uber, Airbnb, and Netflix etc) who use our platform and tools every day to enhance their workflow and ship incredibly engaging content. Lottie, a revolutionary format, can be best described as a movement, and LottieFiles is a company wrapped around it. By listening to the Lottie community, we’ve created a unique set of editing, workflow, and collaboration tools that seamlessly integrate with popular design software and developer environments such as Adobe After Effects, Figma, VS Code, and others.

TEAM: The company has over 80 employees who work remotely from all over the world.

STACK: Python and JavaScript; AI/ML; RESTful APIs; NLP; LLMs (GPT, BERT, or similar frameworks); AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face); Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and AI services are highly desirable.

PROJECT STAGE: live product, fully established

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience integrating AI/ML functionalities into web applications and working with RESTful APIs;
• Expertise in programming languages of Python and JavaScript;
• Experience with fine-tuning LLMs (GPT, BERT, or similar frameworks), agents, prompt engineering, and prompt compression is highly desirable;
• Solid understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and experience implementing solutions for text generation, sentiment analysis, etc.;
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for continuous learning.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and AI services is highly desirable;
• Experience designing and implementing machine learning models, including automated tagging, content recommendation, and advanced natural language processing tasks;
• Familiarity and experience with AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Integrate and Fine-Tune LLMs: Integrate third-party AI and ML APIs into the LottieFiles platform, focusing on fine-tuning large language models (LLMs) to fit specific needs, ensuring seamless functionality and superior user experience;
• Advanced Prompt Engineering: Utilize prompt engineering and compression techniques to optimize model responses and enhance the interactive capabilities of LottieFiles, enablingmore intuitive search, generation, and customization of animations;
• Custom Embeddings and Data Preparation: Develop custom embeddings and prepare datasets, including synthetic data generation, to improve model training and performance;
• Collaborative Development: Work closely with the product and design teams to identify opportunities for applying AI in new features and workflows, ensuring that AI solutions are aligned with user needs and business goals;
• Research and Innovation: Research and develop models and APIs to keep LottieFiles at the cutting edge of technology, documenting and presenting findings and development processes to stakeholders and team members;
• Efficient and Maintainable Code: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Python and JavaScript necessary for AI model development and API integration.
