Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Middle Backend developer to join our team in building a new SaaS product. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in JavaScript/TypeScript backend development and a strong background in engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain complex backend applications using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Implement test-driven development practices to ensure high-quality code.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Create and maintain technical specifications and documentation.
• Lead small teams of developers, providing guidance and support.
• Utilize the NestJS framework for application development.
• Work with Docker for containerization.
• Manage caching with Redis.
• Use AWS cloud-native services for application deployment and maintenance.
• Handle PostgreSQL for database management.
• Implement logging and monitoring solutions.
• Perform database migrations.
• Profile and optimize application performance.
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Implement event-driven programming models.
• Utilize knowledge of backend design patterns for robust application architecture.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in JavaScript/TypeScript backend development.
• Proficiency in English at B2 level or higher.
• Demonstrable experience in test-driven development and writing clean code.
• Strong skills in writing technical specifications and leading small development teams.
• Experience with NestJS is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with Docker containerization.
• Experience with Redis, AWS cloud-native services, and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of logging and monitoring tools.
• Experience with database migrations and application profiling.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
• Strong understanding of OOP and event-driven programming.
• In-depth knowledge of backend design patterns.
