POSITION OVERVIEW
Working under the overall supervision of the MHPSS Senior Officer, and in close cooperation with MHPSS technical and management team, the MHPSS Associate is responsible for performing administrative and technical duties to support the effective implementation of FHI 360’s MHPSS activities. The MHPSS Associate is responsible for providing operational support for the organization of technical trainings, implementation of mobile teams, and provision of psychological support at PHCs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES
Support the day-to-day activities of the MHPSS team, including administrative tasks.
Provide field support to mobile team PSS staff and PHC psychologists and MHPSS trainers.
Support the planning, set-up, and coordination of MHPSS team supervision and external Supervisor.
Support the planning, set-up, and coordination of MHPSS trainings and workshops.
Prepare invitation letters, send invitations to participants for trainings, and coordinate with participants in advance of the training.
Assist in overseeing and managing the implementation of MHPSS trainings, including coordination with the logistics unit as needed.
Following MHPSS trainings, communicate and coordinate with PHCs on additional support needed from FHI 360, such as assistance in applying to the NHSU the mental health service, participation in additional FHI 360 trainings, and any other requests/needs.
Contribute to MHPSS training reports and ensure data on training indicators is submitted to the MEAL unit.
Collect reports weekly and monthly from each MHPSS field staff and compile them into one MHPSS field report.
Make phone calls, coordinate requests for support, schedule appointments, and assist in organizing internal and external meetings.
Maintain updated electronic and hard copy files related to MHPSS activities.
Conduct preparatory work for new activities, information gathering, and background research, as requested by the MHPSS Program Manager.
Liaise between MHPSS unit and other departments including Logistics, Finance, and MEAL.
Any other duty assigned by the supervisor and MHPSS technical and management team.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's (or Masters) degree in Psychology, Administration, Social, or another relevant area.
Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience.
Experience working with NGOs is an advantage.
Fluent in Ukrainian. A basic level of English.
Able to work in a team, attentive to details, eager to learn, and flexible to work in challenging conditions.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office 365 tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, SharePoint, Skype/Zoom/Teams), Internet.
