We are looking for a DevOps / SRE mentor (can be part-time) who wants share practical experience, shape DevOps thinking and help Junior Engineers confidently start in the profession.
This is a role for those who:
- already work in DevOps / SRE,
- want to develop as a technical leader,
- enjoys explaining complex things in simple words.
Your tasks
- Mentoring of Junior DevOps engineers:
- analysis of practical tasks,
- code review (IaC, CI/CD, Kubernetes),
- consultations and explanations concepts;
- Working with a ready-made curriculum:
- adaptation to the level of the group,
- help in improving individual modules;
- Participation in the development of the educational process:
- assessment of student progress,
- suggestions for improving the training format;
- Development of own skills:
- regular feedback,
- training of mentoring and leadership qualities.
Our ideal candidate
- 1+ years of commercial experience in DevOps / SRE
(also suitable roles: Linux Admin, Cloud Engineer, CI/CD Engineer)
?? Mandatory technical background
- Docker (hands-on experience);
- CI/CD: GitHub Actions / GitLab CI / Jenkins;
- Linux:
- confident work with CLI,
- basic services,
- network settings;
- Kubernetes (real experience):
- application deployment,
- Deployment / Service / Ingress,
- basic work with kubectl;
- Basic understanding of Cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure) - plus.
Soft skills that are really important
- Patience and willingness to help;
- Ability to explain complex technical things simply;
- Mentoring experience (at work, pet projects, training colleagues) is a big plus;
- Empathy and willingness to support students in difficult moments.

- Trial period (1 month): $200/month
