Mentor for accompanying civil society organizations in Sumy, Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions in Rokada, BF BO

The ROKADA Charitable Foundation announces a tender procedure for the position of mentors to support civil society organizations in the Sumy, Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions

The ROKADA Charitable Foundation within the framework of the project "Strengthening through Unity: Support for Capacity Building of local NGOs in the Sumy, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions" invites all interested parties to submit their proposals for the provision of mentoring services for teams of civil society organizations in the Sumy, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

We are looking for mentors in the regions:

1.   Sumy region

2.   Kharkiv region

3.   Dnipropetrovsk region

Format of engagement: The specialist must be physically present at the facilities of civil society organizations (CSOs) assigned to the specialist and/or the Customer's office. The mentor provides individual assistance to CSO partners directly during offline visits (consultations, trainings, seminars, master classes, workshops) and remotely by phone, e-mail, video conferences, etc. - documents, advice, solutions clarification.

 Main tasks

• Organization of contacts with other mentors and experts,
• Participation in the development of the content of polygraphic materials< /li>
• Preparation for the first site visits, participation in the presentation of the mentoring program,
• Preparation of materials for the development and visit schedules for the initial assessment of the selected CSOs. Visits to designated CSOs. Evaluation of organizations based on the chosen methodology
• Development of short- and long-term recommendations for the organizational development of CSOs
• Development of a draft Plan of measures to increase the capacity of CSOs
• Providing consulting assistance in the implementation of the agreed Action Plan
• Participation in the development of an electronic manual
• Preparation of reports and presentation of the results of the Mentoring Program
• Participation in 3 exchange visits to CSOs (including 1 visit to CSOs partner)
• Help in establishing networks of partner CSOs with potential partners among other CSOs
• Participation in a joint event of partners from 6 regions (moderation of thematic sessions, presentation of intermediate project results, etc.) and participation in final online conference (presentation of project results)

Main requirements:

Submission of the proposal in accordance with the requirements of the tender documentation

Availability of FOP of the 3rd group

Higher education

Availability of a resume

Work experience in the field of project management, mentoring and development of CSOs (in particular, work in international projects , holding management positions in CSOs and/or government bodies, providing individual consulting services for CSOs

Experience of working in the eastern regions of Ukraine in the period 2022-2024 will be an additional advantage.
