< strong style="font-weight: 700">Job Description
The PPE Trainer will work closely with the PPE Specialist and Coordinator and the field team in the performance of all tasks related to the support of field and office teams to ensure the quality, relevance and technical innovation of interventions with the PZPSP for the Mission in Ukraine.
To be successful in this position, the candidate must perform the main duties independently or special working conditions are required.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Provide training, supervision, and training for trainers in the field of PPE and techniques (case management in the field of PPE and PM+) so that employees of public institutions of Ukraine could identify the need for basic support and be able to refer its beneficiaries who have psychological distress or any other signs of mental disorder.In coordination with the national authorities and the Technical Department of the International Medical Corps.
- Provide supervision and support to trained personnel.
- Work closely with trained International Medical Corps personnel.

- Ensure the completion and analysis of training documentation.
- Provide information for the development of a system for monitoring the quality of services provided together with the manager/ a trainer with the PZPSP (foreigner) of the International Medical Corps to monitor the quality of the services provided and to propose a system for tracking the transfer of training to the relevant entities. In addition, collaborate with members of the International Medical Corps PZPSP team and representatives of partners to jointly develop plans to address gaps and challenges.
- Write training reports after the completion of each training session, including pre- and post-test analysis/results, participant evaluation, recommendations and action plans.
- Ensure proper documentation of all trainings by providing copies to the PZPSP team for data management, monitoring and reporting - list of participants, photographs,if available, agenda, assessment, pre- and post-test and training report. Maintain contact with the relevant program specialist to collect all documents from the PZPSP trainer.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the PZPSP specialist and/or the PZPSP manager.
Minimum requirements
< li style="font-weight: 400">Psychologist/psychiatrist/social worker (Master's degree). trainer certificate for ECEC trainers, supervisory experience as a minimum.- Strong organizational and supervisory skills, as well as interpersonal skills with the ability to work in diverse cultural environments.
- Ability to work in difficult conditions under the simplest everyday circumstances.
- Ability to work in a team or independently, flexibility, ability to cope with stress and work with limited resources.
- Trained in psychological first aid, case management and PM +, familiar with the mhGAP manual (different versions IG and HIG) and mental health training materials I am at the community level, and you also have previous experience in training for multicultural groups.
- Experience in mental health and protection work with IDPs, refugees, returnees and host communities.
- Familiar with the guidelines of the Interdepartmental Standing Committee on PZPSP in emergency situations.
- English language (spoken and written) is mandatory.
- Good command of spoken Ukrainian/Russian is an advantage.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Good communication skills, ability to work in a team and ability to work independently.
- Previous experience of working in non-governmental organizations in crisis situations.
- Team player with high ability to work under pressure .
Requirement for business trips: Regular business trips around Ukraine .
