Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Intern in Ukraine in Making Cents International

Making Cents International is seeking a Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Intern to work on the USAID-funded activity. UNITY fosters vested ownership among young people in the country’s democratic, European future by mobilizing youth leadership of a values-based conception of Ukrainian identity grounded in innovation, engagement, and pluralism. The activity is simultaneously addressing the key domains identified in : building youth assets, fostering resilience, offering age-appropriate experiences for youth contribution, and strengthening the enabling environment, while intentionally and safely promoting dialogue and belonging around this pluralistic identity and incentivizing participation and leadership by historically marginalized groups.ResponsibilitiesThe Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Intern’s tasks will include:Supporting knowledge management of MHPSS resourcesAssisting in the delivery of virtual and in-person training on MHPSS-related topics to youth-serving professionals and organizational staff in Ukraine Preparing and formatting reports, tables, and chartsSupporting project procurement activities related to MHPSS activitiesOther duties as assignedRequirementsAt least 18 years oldCurrent resident of UkraineExcellent writing and verbal skills in Ukrainian and EnglishAbility to organize and prioritize work and handle multiple tasks concurrentlyAbility to work independently Strong attention to detailStrong interpersonal and organizational skillsGood working knowledge of MS Office applicationsOur ideal candidate is recently graduated or actively working towards a bachelor’s degree in law, finance, accounting, or a similar field.Working ConditionsPart-time position which requires a minimum commitment of 10 hours per week for 12 weeks.Making Cents International is a certified B Corporation, founded on the principles of social entrepreneurship.
