Mechatronics engineer in Onseo

The employer is a Ukrainian company engaged in the production of electronic components and devices in the field of defense technologies from the idea to the implementation!

Now we are looking for a Mechatronic Engineer.

Education and experience

• Higher technical education (mechatronics, automation, robotics, electromechanics or related specialties).
• Work experience of 2 years in the field of mechatronics, automation or robotics.
• Practical experience in the integration of mechanical, electronic and software systems.

Technical knowledge and skills

• Knowledge of motion control systems (servo motors, stepper motors, PID controllers).
• Experience with microcontrollers (STM32, Arduino, ESP32) and/or PLC.
• Programming skills in C/C++ / Python to control actuators and sensors.
• Working with CAD systems (SolidWorks, Inventor) for the integration of mechanical units.
• Understanding the principles of sensor operation (encoders, IMU, position/force sensors).
• Basic knowledge of electronics: reading schematics, working with drivers, sources power.
• Experience in assembling and testing electromechanical systems.
• Ability to use measuring devices (oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer).

Will be a plus

• Experience working with ROS/ROS2 and integration of robotic systems.
• Knowledge of modeling and simulation methods (MATLAB/Simulink, Gazebo).
• Experience in the field of autonomous systems.
• Knowledge of communication interfaces (CAN, RS-485, Modbus, Ethernet).
• Skills to optimize systems for real-time operation (RTOS).
