Save the Children International is a humanitarian organization with more than 100 years of history. Save the Children was founded in May 1919 in London. SCI has been working in Ukraine since 2014. It started its work in the territory of Donetsk region. Currently, SCI is expanding its activities to eight cities of Ukraine. We work in the areas of education, child protection, overcoming child poverty, health care, and we also carry out advocacy activities related to the protection of children's rights.
OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION:
MEAL System
• Take responsibility for MEAL system deployment for Western Region projects;
• Ensure that MEAL project staff and other project staff understand the various steps and tools for the MEAL system and that they are used consistently across projects/areas;
• Support MEAL teams in the Western Region in conducting quality monitoring to international standards using participatory methodologies (including child-friendly methodologies);
• Provide technical support and participate, as necessary, in all other aspects of ME&A at the project level, such as surveys, assessments, baselines, evaluations, joint project reviews / workshops / learning events.

- Ensure that project MEAL staff and other project staff understand the various steps and tools for the MEAL system and that this is used consistently across projects / areas;
- Support West Area MEAL teams to conduct quality monitoring against international standards through participatory methodologies (including child-friendly methodologies);
- Provide technical support and participate as required in all other aspects of ME&A at project level, for example surveys, assessments, baselines, evaluations, joint projects reviews / lessons learning workshops/events.
