At ODSC (Open Data Science Conference) we strive to bring together the global AI and Data Science community, facilitate the exchange of innovative ideas, promote the growth of open source software, and prepare data and AI practitioners of all levels for success in their rapidly changing field.
To this end, we host four AI Training Conferences around the globe, including in Boston, San Francisco, London, APAC, as well as in-person meetups, live virtual events, lighting interviews, free webinars, podcasts and more.

About the position

We are looking for a creative and data-driven Social Content Marketing Manager to join our growing company. In this role, you will build and amplify our brand awareness, driving audience engagement, and attracting attendees to our conferences.This position requires someone who is comfortable working in an extremely fast-paced, startup environment and is comfortable reaching out to and interacting with a variety of people.

Responsibilities

• Implement the company’s content plan across all channels, align with marketing objectives and brand guidelines
• Updating social media accounts such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
• Schedule and publish content all over social media channels
• Proficiency in video editing tools for creating engaging Reels and TikToks specifically for target audience in the AI & Data Science field.
• Monitor comments and engage with community members
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in content marketing
• Generating ideas for archive company results
• Organize content storage.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of content initiatives, using data and analytics to drive continuous improvement
• Support the Marketing Manager in other initiatives that may arise

Required skills

• 2+ years of experience running social media channels (is a must)
• A strong understanding of social networks (is a must)
• Advanced English (is a must)
• Copywriting skills powered by AI tools (is a plus)
• Experience with mobile video editing and graphic design (is a plus)
• The ability to craft captivating messages that resonate with our audience (is a plus)
• Experience using social media management tools to schedule and publish content (is a must)
• Understanding of AI and data science concepts (is a plus).
• The ability to plan and execute diverse and innovative campaigns across a range of platforms (is a must)
• Outgoing personality and strong social presence is required
• Excellent time management and organizational skills are required
• Ability to work well independently and within a team is required
