The Marketing and PR-manager will be responsible for supporting our brokers and clients in four key marketing areas that include pitches & presentations, property marketing, positioning, and internal & external communications. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator and have a keen eye for details. In addition, the incumbent needs to possess exceptional writing, project management, organizational skills and be able to work collaboratively with a variety of personalities under multiple competing deadlines.
Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate core competencies in the following areas:
- Oversee Advertising budget & calendar
- Manage outdoor marketng Ads (mostly banners)
- Interface and coordinate with Press and Media
- Develop new marketing tools and sources for advertising and PR
- Update website content for Colliers local web-site
- Web ads (content and SEO)
- Write, update and maintain powerful content for media and ads
- Communicate and coordinate corporate programs at the local office level
- Act as coordinator and final editor for significant projects; ensure brand compliance
Communications:
- Create compelling communications that are relevant to individual brokers and market
- Create any regional and local newsletters, and identify ways to further enhance communication
- Track, archive and promote Colliers in the news
- Organize conferences/forums/seminars for clients
- Act as coordinator and final editor for the regional annual and semiannual research reports (work in close cooperation with outsourced translator and designer)
- Follow and recommend procedures that support organizational consistency across offices
- Manage Service Excellence program within local office
Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess the following required degrees, certificates or competencies:
- Bachelors Degree in Marketing/Communication/Management with a business focus
- 3+ years experience in Marketing with a strategic focus developing marketing plans
- B2B experience is highly preferred
- Ability to write professional and grammatically correct text
- Understanding of content management systems, website back-end requirements, and website administration
- Understanding of graphic design principles and layout
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint is preferred (Adobe and InDesign skills will be additional advantage)
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and to interact at allorganizational levels
- Fluent English is the must!
