They detect bugs in hardware, software, or system interactions. This is not just a team of "clickers", these are creative engineers. They test new devices in various extreme conditions: they simulate the movements of people and animals, reproduce complex weather conditions, temperature changes, arrange controlled fires and flooding. The Ajax line includes control centers with its own RTOS (OS Malevich), video surveillance, motion sensors, opening, flood protection and fire detectors, street and home sirens, alarm button with device control function, automation devices. Ajax Systems has many proprietary technologies: Jeweler and Wings radio protocols, Fibra wire communication protocol, LISA algorithms, SmartDetect, HazeFlow 2, JetSparrow technology, and also owns 38 patents for inventions, designs, etc. Task: testing the OS of the hub - Malevich; perfect to understand the structure of the system; not only to find bugs, but also to find out with the help of logs and external manifestations the reasons for incorrect behavior of the system; to investigate and troubleshoot a lot; to participate in the analysis and update of documentation; to validate the system for functional and non-functional requirements; task estimation; write checklists, test cases, test work plan with Git; find the problem not only in Malevich, but also in other parts of the system (Server, Mobile/Desktop App's); interaction with other teams and departments (developers, designers, business analysts ); work with QA Tools (server/device emulators); task estimation; interaction with Beta Test participants and the Support team; participation in the optimization of testing processes; improving the quality of the system as a whole. Necessary knowledge and skills: excellent knowledge of testing theory; ability to apply techniques test design; ability to write bug reports and test cases; knowledge of SDLC; experience working with requirements and technical specifications; good analytical skills; technical education; ability not only to find a problem, but also to find a cause and effect relationship; knowledge of binary and hexadecimal number systems ; high level of self-organization. Will be a plus: experience with JIRA, Confluence, Testrail; experience with Kibana; basic knowledge of Linux; experience with Git; experience with MySQL/MongoDB; experience/basic knowledge of working with electrical engineering.
