Manual QA Engineer (Junior+) in Job Evolution Services Kft.

We are looking for a Manual QA Engineer (Junior+) for long-term cooperation on the development of the TalentMediator.com platform — an international job board operating in several markets (US / DE / FR / UK and others).

The platform combines jobs from different employers, has complex business logic, search, analytics and integrations, so it is important for us that QA understands both the product and the business context.

TalentMediator is a job board web platform with:

• multi-market architecture
• integrations with employers job feeds

• analytics of clicks and user behavior
  
  
• SEO-critical flows (indexing, schema.org, sitemaps)
  
  
• constant development of new features for candidates and employers
  
   

We work like a product startup: fast, flexible, with a minimum of bureaucracy and direct interaction between QA, development and product.

Responsibilities

• Conducting manual web product testing
  
  
• Regular smoke testing
  
  
• Sanity testing feature
  
   
• Regression testing as needed
  
   
• Full functional testing of key user and business flows
  
  
• client-server testing interactions
  
   
• Identification, description and tracking of defects
  
   
• Writing and support of test documentation:
  
   
  • Test Plans (basic)
    
     
  • Test Cases for key scenarios
    
     
  • Checklists for regular testing
    
     
• Close cooperation with developers and product management
  
   

Requirements

• Basic experience in manual QA or commercial up to 1 year of experience
• Understanding SDLC and the role of QA in the product team
• Knowledge of the main types of testing:
   
  • smoke
     
  • sanity
     
  • regression
     
  • functional
• Testing experience web applications:
  
  • desktop browsers
    
  • mobile browser (adaptive)
• Confident work with DevTools (console, network)
• Basic understanding of client-server architecture
• Experience in creating and managing defects
• Basic understanding or experience with emulators (Android / browser emulation)

Format of cooperation

• Format: part-time ($7/hour)
• Loading: 10 hours per week (negotiable)
• Payment format: contractual (FOP or other convenient format)
