Job Title: Manual QA Engineer — Financial Web ApplicationJob Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manual QA Engineer to join our team in testing our financial web application. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying and reporting bugs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest quality of our application.Responsibilities:1. Develop and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for the financial web application2. Execute manual testing across various browsers, devices, and operating systems3. Identify, document, and report bugs, issues, and defects using a bug tracking system4. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, discuss issues, and provide feedback5. Verify bug fixes and retest resolved issues to ensure proper implementation6. Conduct exploratory testing to uncover potential issues and edge cases7. Participate in regular testing activities, such as regression testing, smoke testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)8. Contribute to the development and maintenance of testing documentation, including test strategies, test matrices, and test reports9. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new testing tools and methodologiesRequirements:1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field2. 2+ years of experience in manual testing of web applications, preferably in the financial domain3. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies4. Experience with creating and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts5. Proficiency in identifying, documenting, and reporting bugs using bug tracking systems like JIRA or Bugzilla6. Knowledge of web technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript7. Familiarity with testing tools, such as browser developer tools, Postman, and Selenium8. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills9. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment10. Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality softwarePreferred Qualifications:1. Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or Playwright2. Knowledge of financial concepts, such as banking, trading, and financial instruments3. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban4.
