Manual QA Engineer (AddMile) in Headway

We launched a new product - AddMile - a personal and professional development coaching platform that is part of the Headway educational product ecosystem.

Headway is an EdTech startup that creates microlearning products. It is included in the GSV 150 list of the world's most influential companies transforming digital learning and specialist skills.

The company was founded in 2019. In 5 years, it grew from 3 to more than 250 people in the team and opened offices in Kyiv, Warsaw, Nicosia and London.

Headway products help develop 100+ million people in the world through concise formats of educational content: samaras, courses, games, infographics.

Together with our Engineering Manager, Artem Hrytsaenko, we are looking for a Manual QA Engineer, to join the technical team and help develop a new product.

About the product:

AddMile is a coaching platform for personal and professional development that helps people improve various areas of life: exit from crisis situations, cope with burnout, self-sabotage, increase productivity, define goals and make an action plan. The web version of the product is available to users from more than 130 countries.

What will need to be done:

• Manual testing;
• Identifying problem areas and entering them into the bug tracking system;
• Formation of test documentation (QA processes, checklists for functional and regression testing);
• Formation of ideas to improve software quality;
• Specification of software requirements; Analysis of technical documentation.

We are looking for you if you:

• Have experience of manual testing (Web and mobile) from 1 year;
• You have an understanding of web technologies (REST, JSON, server response codes, cookies and session, local storage);
• You know how to draw up technical documentation;
• You have experience in API testing (Postman, Swagger);
• Knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies, tools and processes;
• You have an understanding of development tools and knowledge of SDLC, STLC;
• Split the values ​​of the command ( SELECT );
• You know English at the Upper Intermediate level.

Will be a plus:

• Work experience in automation;
• Experience with SQL;
• Experience with Git.
