Manual QA Engineer in Digital Invest Advisor

We are looking for a manual tester who is attentive to details, who will help us ensure the stable and high-quality operation of web projects and internal services of the company. If you like to "break" products, look for inaccuracies, describe bugs in a structured and systematic way - we are on the way.

Main duties

• Manual testing of web applications (frontend + basic check of backend logic at the level user)
• Checking new functionality before release (regression, smoke-testing, sanity-check)
• Compilation and updating of test cases, checklists
• Documentation of bugs in task-tracker (Trello)
• Close cooperation with developers, designers and project managers
• Checking compliance of the implementation with the technical task and design (pixel-perfect - desirable)
• Participation in discussions of UX/UI improvements and product quality

Requirements

1. Experience of manual QA from 1 year

2. Understanding types of testing: functional, regression, integration, cross-browser, adaptive

3. Ability to write understandable bug reports (expected result / actual / reproduction steps / environment)

4. Basic understanding of web applications (front/back, HTTP, cookies, cache)

5. Experience with Trello task-tracker

6. Attention, persistence, systematicity, ability to bring the task to completion end

7. Willingness to work full-time, 40 hours/week (with the possibility of time tracking through Time Doctor)

Will be a plus

• Experience in testing SaaS / CRM / fintech / marketplaces

• Basic knowledge of SQL (checking data in DB)

• Understanding the basics of API testing (Postman, Swagger)

• Experience writing simple test cases in Google Sheets / TestRail / analogues

• Basic understanding of Git / working with different environments (dev / stage / prod)

Trial month

The first month of work is test and mutually optional, but fully paid.

• During this period we evaluate your qualifications, approach to work and interaction with team.

• You, for your part, will be able to understand how suitable our processes, projects and format of cooperation are for you.

• Either of the parties can terminate cooperation at any moment of the test month (for example, by giving 1 day's notice).

• In this case all actually worked time will be fully paid according to the agreed rates.

After the successful completion of thenext month, we continue cooperation on the agreed terms and move forward in a long-term format.
