Klik Solutions is a leading provider of IT services and solutions, committed to delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a Middle or Strong Junior Manual QA Engineer who is familiar with HTML/CSS/JS and an experienced user of WordPress (both classic and Gutenberg editor). The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with developers and other team members to identify and resolve issues.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure software quality.
- Performing manual testing of software applications, including smoke tests, system testing, security testing, and UX (usability) testing.
- Conducting comprehensive testing of all web products, including client sites and the Klik holding website.
- Testing the WordPress admin panel and ensuring it performs as expected.
- Creating and maintaining documentation, including test plans, test cases, and bug reports.
- Documenting and report defects and issues clearly and concisely, providing detailed steps to reproduce and any relevant information.
- Conducting regression testing to ensure resolved issues do not reoccur and new features do not introduce new defects.
- Ensuring the final version of web products aligns with original design specifications and performs as expected.
- Performing sanity testing to ensure the system's basic functionalities are working correctly.
- Collaborating with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Staying current with industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to software testing and quality assurance.
Job Requirements:
- Proficient in English communication (at least upper intermediate)
- Experience with AI tools (Evgeniy mentioned there was a conversation with Bill about some AI chatbot)
- Experience with WordPress
- Proven experience as a QA Manual Tester or similar role.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experienced user of WordPress, including both classic and Gutenberg editors.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Experience with defect tracking tools and test management software.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices is a plus.
Would a be a great plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experiencein testing web applications, mobile applications, and/or enterprise software.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and ability to perform database queries for testing purposes.
- Understanding of basic programming concepts and the ability to read and understand code is a plus.
