We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits, exciting challenges, and competitive salary.Our customer accounts include many of the large ECommerce sites such as Walmart, Costco, Wayfair, Overstock, Target, Mason, Macy’s, etc., as well as a broad base of wholesale accounts across the country.We also carry well-known brands such as Nautica, Thomasville, Drexel Heritage, and others.In addition, this warehouse supplies The Bedroom Store retail locations across St. Louis and surrounding metropolitan area.The Manager, Warehouse & Distribution Operations reports to the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for managing a mid-size warehouse fulfillment operation.Key responsibilities include: Position is responsible for logistics efforts to optimize inbound receiving/outbound shipping efforts to meet or exceed customer expectations and ensuring all service level goals are met. Optimize facility to maximize throughput while facilitating FIFO measures. Manage the stock levels to maximize space utilization. Coordinate with Boyd company warehouse located in Fontana California to facilitate transfer orders and supplier consolidated shipments. Develop and maintain robust inbound inspection and testing processes to ensure any non-conformance is quantified and communicated to product development and procurement for supplier resolution. Manage outsourced delivery service, ensure routes are established and loads are coordinated daily (Monday – Saturday). Ensure outsourced delivery service meets expectations and standards as established and deliveries are made on time with quality and excellent customer service. Partner with the Manager of Inventory to ensure timely inventory cycle counts are made, including applicable root cause analysis and reporting. Maintain clean and organized warehouse, ensuring processes are in place and operating efficiently. Position is responsible for logistics efforts to optimize inbound receiving/outbound shipping efforts to meet or exceed customer expectations and ensuring all service level goals are met. Maintain warehouse operation that is compliant with OSHA safety measure, 5S standards, lean processes. Coach, develop, motivate, and retain a team of warehouse operational employees. Maintain policies, practices, and strategies to drive enhanced service performance. Manage KPI structure that is reflective of our workflow and quality improvement culture. Analyze quality and productivity results/metrics while developing action plans to optimize. Lead by example through positive attitude, professional behavior, demeanor, and communication style. Write/conduct performance evaluations based on set performance goals and objectives/KPIsPerform other duties as assigned.
