Manager of the functional direction of strategic and financial risks in Ukrzaliznicya, AT

JSC "Ukrainian Railways" is the largest system company of the country, which ensures cargo and passenger transportation, uninterrupted operation of critical infrastructure. Strengthening the risk management system is one of our priorities.

That is why we are looking for a functional manager strategic and financial risks of the Risk Management Department. We need a specialist who will ensure the financial stability and sustainability of the company. Timely prevent financial losses, increase the transparency of processes, strengthen control and support the adoption of sound management decisions for the long-term stability of the company.

Under the direct supervision of the head of the Department of Strategic and Financial Risks, the Department will need to perform the following functions:

• Identify and assess financial risks (credit, market, liquidity);
• Provide proposals regarding appetite for financial risk;
• Implement monitoring and control of the level of financial risks, escalation to the management level in case of violation of financial risk limits;
• Initiate the implementation of various financial risk management activities;
• Analyze draft decisions of the board and appeals to the Company's supervisory board for the presence of potential strategic and financial risks for Societies.
• Formulate reporting on financial risks;
• Participate in the development and implementation of provisions, regulations, procedures, orders, instructions and other documents of the Department, which determine the procedure for identifying, evaluating, monitoring financial risks and determining priorities for risk management, as well as carry out an analysis of their compliance with legislation and the Company's internal documents;
• Conduct an investigation of risk realization events in order to identify the causes and provide suggestions for minimizing risks.
• Provide suggestions, recommendations and consultations to employees of the Company's structural units, regional branches, branches, subsidiaries of the Company regarding the Risk Management Policy Companies in terms of financial risks.

Expectations from the candidate:

• Higher education (economic, financial);
• Experience of 5 years in the field of finance/economics or 3 years in the field of financial risk management;
• Experience in the development and implementation of methodologies and regulatory documents in the relevant field;
• Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative risk analysis methods (currency, liquidity, investment);
• Ability to formulate conclusions, recommendations;
• Availability of analytical and communication skills, adaptability, teamwork.
