Manager of search and purchase of electronic components (Cost Optimization) in Ajax Systems

The business is growing rapidly, so in our Supply Chain Department we are waiting for a new colleague - a manager for the search and purchase of electronic components, the main the task of which will be the optimization/unification of the component base of new products, the search and selection of electronic components in accordance with the TK/parameters in order to reduce the final cost of our Hardware. Task: Estimating the cost of the BOM (Bill of Materials) of the list of devices under development; Searching for solutions to reduce the cost of products; Selection/search of analogues of electronic components; Search of potential suppliers for new components; Maintenance and filling of the supplier base according to categories/areas of components; Communication with representatives of manufacturers, FAE, Tech Support representatives. Necessary knowledge and skills: Higher education (preferably technical); Experience in procurement from 2 years (work in the technical field will be a plus); Knowledge of the elementary base of electronic components (main categories: microcircuits, transistors, diodes, passive components); Knowledge of manufacturers/distributors in the field of electronic components; Multitasking and managing several projects at the same time; The ability to identify problems and find their solutions; Bringing the started to the end and converting time into results.
