Your main tasks will be:

• initiating, technical and economic substantiation and support of projects of energy transformation and renewable energy (solar, wind, biogas plants), as well as solutions for carbon capture and storage (CCS/CCUS);
• coordination of measures to switch to alternative fuels: hydrogen, synthetic methane, biomethane;
• analysis of the potential for reducing the use of fossil fuels at the company's production facilities and formation recommendations;
• development of an energy balance model (in cooperation with energy efficiency units) with forecasting of the impact on Scope 2 indicators;
• preparation of investment materials, including financial models, risk assessment and calculation of economic efficiency;
• control of implementation and achievement of planned efficiency indicators of implemented alternative fuel and RES projects;

We expect from you:

• higher education in the field of: economics, ecology, environmental protection, energy, thermal power engineering, energy management, energy efficiency, automation of technological processes or related specialties;
• 3 years of practical experience in the fields of decarbonization, energy transformation, RES, oil and gas extraction/transportation/processing, non-financial reporting, energy management and energy efficiency;
• knowledge of Ukrainian legislation in the fields of decarbonization, environmental protection and climate policy; understanding the requirements of regulatory documents regarding electronic systemsenergy and environmental management;
• possession of international standards and principles: GHG Protocol, MRV, OGMP;
• skills in project management, analysis of large sets of technical data, negotiations with state bodies and auditors, preparation of management and regulatory reporting;
• experience in the implementation of energy transformation and renewable energy projects, participation in audits of management systems and their certification according to ISO standards (ISO 50001, ISO 14001, etc.);
• English level - B2;
• documents in order, namely the existing military registration document according to current legislation, passport (unexpired) and others.
