Manager of a safe space for women and girls in Shid SOS

The East SOS charity fund has been helping victims of Russian aggression since 2014. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, the activities and team of the foundation have increased. Currently, we help the civilian population in all territories controlled by the Government of Ukraine.

The Foundation, in cooperation with foreign partners, created a safe space for women and girls in Cherkasy, who suffered as a result of the war. "Quiet space" is a place where female visitors feel safe. Within the project, women communicate, restore social ties, acquire skills, attend individual consultations, and also join psychosocial and recreational groups.

What responsibilities ties?

1. Management:

• control and coordination of the work of the space;
• attention to the mental health of the team (maintenance of the atmosphere , organization of retreats, etc.).

2. Work with documents:

• procurement administration;
• preparation of reports;
• interaction with financial and project managers.

3. To be a representative of "Zatyshno space":

• attending meetings on gender-based violence (online and offline) - clusters, unions, communities, etc. ;
• presentation of the space at the local/regional level (in social services, at local festivals, events, etc.);
• promotion of interaction and partnership with organizations and initiatives;
• open communication with the community and beneficiaries.

• ability to accompany several processes and delegate duties.

2. Education and work experience:

• higher education or 1+ year of team management experience;
• skills to work with Google documents (Doc, Excel);
• business management skills, conducting business correspondence.

• fluent in the Ukrainian language;

• have time management skills.
• experience in community activities and/or work in international/donor organizations will be an advantage.
