About the company: a well-known Ukrainian product IT company with the head office in Kyiv, which creates products for iOS and macOS users. The company's headline products are native and web applications for macOS, which daily clean and protect millions of Macs around the world, and also provide unlimited access to many applications to facilitate daily tasks. The company's applications have more than 30 million active users worldwide. We are looking for a macOS engineer, whose main tasks will be: - Development of a new Software Development Kit to support the expansion of functionality and improvement of development productivity. - Planning and execution of system migration to new technologies or platforms with minimal interruptions in work and maintaining compatibility with previous versions. - Providing support legacy code to preserve the reliability and security of older software versions.- Integrate and implement new development approaches or processes.- Communicate with stakeholders to clarify implementation details and discuss possible options for using the new SDK Willing to consider a candidate without current macOS development experience who is willing and willingness to develop desktop expertise. We expect that you have: - 6+ years of development experience under macOS/iOS - Knowledge of Swift and Objective-C to support legacy modules - In-depth knowledge in the field of computer science (memory management, concurrency, networking , data persistence, unit testing, profiling, etc.)- Experience in creating large modular products from scratch (requirement analysis, architecture design, configuration of a complex project, etc.)- Experience in creating extensions and frameworks- English lvl: Intermediate- Previous experience in product companies How an additional advantage will be your experience with:- Meta-programming (Sourcery, Swift macro)- Creation of system extensions, Login Items, Launch Agents, Privileged Helpers, etc.- Cryptography libraries. works in co-working mode (Kyiv), annual budget for education, medical and life insurance (Covid insurance from day one), English and Ukrainian language courses, participation in charity projects, opportunity to participate/organize tech talks or podcasts, annual development compensation review and much more ;)
