Machine Learning / Computer vision Engineer in Ajax Systems

What is the problem we are trying to solve?The goal is to automate manufacturing processes, included but not limited to assembly of devices, packing, visual and defect control. To achieve this, we plan to use both industrial and own developed equipment and solutions. The heart of the solution is built around collaborative robots and our own developed machine vision system.Our Machine vision technology should give equipment the ability to “see” what it is doing and make decisions based on what it sees. The most common uses of machine vision will be visual inspection and defect detection, positioning and measuring parts, and identifying, sorting, and tracking products.Since the manufacturing line also consists of other equipment, such as conveyors, automated screwdrivers, laser marking, etc, there will be a need to develop and integrate it into a centralized system, from which you can monitor and control the operations.Responsibilities: Cooperate with stakeholders to identify solution requirements, business goals, and the expected outcome Technical leadership Research, design, and implement machine learning/computer vision algorithms Provide rapid prototypes and proof of concepts that demonstrate real value Communicate results, technical constraints, and decisions to the business and non-specialists Create and deliver progress reports, slide decks, proposals, and documentation to meet project requirements Collaborate closely with other engineers to find the best solutionRequirements: Degree in computer science or some other IT-related degree 2+ years experience in Computer Vision / Machine Vision / Machine learning / Deep learning; Hands-on experience developing, architecting, and running Machine Learning or deep learning applications Experience with handling and processing image data, including labeling data in experimental and synthetic environments Proficiency in Python, including expertise in key Computer Vision / Deep Learning libraries such as OpenCV, PyTorch, Point Cloud library, etc.; Experience with some of the well-known neural networks architectures such as YOLO, MobileNet, U-Net, R-CNN-based architectures etc.; Excellent collaboration and documentation/reporting skillsWould be a plus: Experience with collaborative robots Expertise in manufacturing automation Experience in EMS industryWe offer: the opportunity to propose and implement own ideas that have an impact on the product and production; work in a motivated team and zero bullshit culture; competitive salary; Medical Insurance; corporate English; compensation for specialized training; the opportunity to participate in the beta test project of Ajax security systems — receiving and testing new gadgets before their release Show more Show less Посадовий рівень Не застосовується Тип зайнятості Повний робочий день Посадові обов’язкиEngineering and Information Technologies Branches Production of devices, electrical engineering and electronics
