Looking for a Strong Junior/Middle QA engineer in a small and friendly team in HotShots Labs

We are looking for a responsible person with a passion for technology to join our team for improving the quality of projects and QA team expansion! HotShots Labs is a small company with a focus on cross-platform mobile development. Our clients come from all over the world.

Our team is led by a Senior Mobile Developer with over 7 years of experience and a Project Manager who will organize a clear workflow.

We provide ongoing support without much supervision. It’s a remote position with a flexible schedule. You’re free to choose when and how much you want to work, all that matters is delivering high-quality results on time.

Important to us:

• You should be confident enough in your skills and have at least 1+ years of manual testing of mobile and web applications (only proven commercial experience)
• Experience in creating and maintaining testing documentation (test plans, reports, test cases, etc.)
• Intermediate+ written and spoken English.
• Knowledge of Browserstack
• Attention to details
• Good communication skills
  
   

Responsibilities:

• Manually test applications according to specified test cases.
• Test applications through different devices with all screen sizes.
• Work with bug-tracking systems.
• Provide test reports.
• Compose and maintain test cases.
• Cooperate with the whole team.

Skills

• Basic understanding of web and mobile applications.
• Familiarity with testing tools.
• Basic knowledge of databases and Firestore for verifying data integrity.
• Proficiency in writing test cases and test plans.
• Experience with various testing types (functional, regression, exploratory).
• Ability to analyze requirements and create test scenarios.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify and isolate defects.
• Meticulous in documenting test results and bug reports.
• Clear communication with developers and PMs.
• Writing detailed and understandable bug reports.
