Position: Long-Term Solutions Manager

??Tasks and responsibilities:?

• Maintains the main communication with UNHCR on issues of house repairs for IDPs, temporary residences, fund temporary housing for IDPs, and if necessary, infrastructure.
• Coordinates cooperation with local communities, authorities, contractors and other partners.
• Supports the coordination of decisions between engineers, protection specialists and the head of the direction (deputy chief project manager for the Shelter direction).
• Represents the organization at coordination meetings, technical briefings and meetings with humanitarian actors.
• Ensures planning and implementation of field activities within the direction.
• Conducts regular monitoring of repair progress with engineers/chief engineers.
• Identifies risks, delays and technical/operational obstacles, proposing corrective measures.??
• Supports data collection, validation and systematization for needs assessments and reporting.
• Provides information and logistical support to engineers: communication with beneficiaries, working with other partners (as needed).
• Supports protection specialists in communicating with households and documenting needs.
• Ensures proper information exchange, as well as referrals, between teams for effective decision-making.
• Prepares updates, analytical notes/references, information for monthly reports.

??Qualification requirements. Technical Skills:?

• General understanding of UNHCR's mission and mandate.

? Higher education in the field of project management, social sciences, international relations, engineering or other related fields.

? Experience in humanitarian projects is welcome.

? Excellent knowledge of the spoken and written Ukrainian language.

? Knowledge of spoken and written English is a plus.

? Excellent computer skills (MS Office required).

? Gothickness before business trip (Poltava and region).

? The presence of a personal PC.
