Job title: Logistics and Demand Planning ManagerLocation: Hoboken, USAType of contract: Full TimeAbout the role As our brands are expanding quickly, we are seeking a dynamic Logistics and Demand Planning Manager with 4 to 7 years of experience to join the Parfums de Marly and Initio Parfums Privés Americas team. Based in Hoboken, New Jersey, this role is pivotal in ensuring seamless logistics operations and effective demand planning for our brands. The successful candidate will be agile, adaptable, and comfortable with a rapidly evolving scope of work. This role requires daily interactions with manufacturing and logistics teams in France and regular visits to our warehousing partner in Edison, New Jersey.Key Responsibilities:Oversee logistics and demand planning operations to ensure timely and efficient delivery of productsUpdate and challenge our forecasts with local team (sales, finance, marketing…) in order to anticipate customer needs and improve the accuracyLead our inventory level for the purpose of having the right quantity at the good timeCollaborate closely with manufacturing and Sales and Operation teams in France to coordinate replenishment orders and shipping schedulesManage relationships with third-party logistics providers and warehousing partner to ensure smooth operationsCoordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including customs clearance and documentationMonitor compliance through the analysis and challenge of retail partners chargebacksManages the returns process with the objective to minimize costsLead and develop the logistics coordinatorProvide regular reports and analysis to senior management on logistics and demand planning performanceRole - Specific Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsProficiency in supply chain management software and toolsPeople management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a teamWillingness to travel to our warehousing partner in Edison, New Jersey, minimum 1 day per weekAbility to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple prioritiesDesired Background and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.4 to 7 years of experience in logistics and demand planning, preferably in the beauty industry.Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
