Localization Manager in Ajax Systems

About the position

Localization Team is part of the In-house Agency of the Marketing Department. The goal of all agency teams is to create, design and adapt content that goes through the full production cycle: from idea to publication on the website in 12 languages. The main task of the Localization Team is to provide high-quality translation of content in 10 languages ​​and maintain its relevance.

Localization Team is an international team consisting of managers and 10 full-time translator-editors, some of whom are native speakers. The main focus of the Localization Manager is to provide high-quality translation of the company's marketing and technical content, as well as to adapt it to the requirements of the markets. Daily work consists in processing translation requests from the moment of receiving the request to the transfer of finished translations. The manager also communicates with full-time and freelance performers, as well as translation agencies; consults with local partners around the world to agree wording and terms, etc.

This approach gives us the opportunity not just to translate, but to speak the same language with all partners, installers and users of our security systems. 

• Workflow organization and project support from the moment of receiving the source text until translations in all languages ​​are ready

• Setting and managing content translation for the team and freelancers

• Checking the quality and consistency of translations in 10 languages

• Constant communication with customers and task executors

• Project management on the Crowdin localization platform

• Maintenance of internal documentation (Confluence)

• Adaptation of content according to language features and site requirements

Requirements:

• Strong managerial, organizational and communication skills

• Ability to focus on many tasks at the same time and set priorities

• Ability to work with large volumes of texts and information

• Attention to detail

• English language not lower than level B2 (Upper-Intermediate)

Would be preferred: 

• Experience in the field of translations (on the part of the bureau or the client)

• Working with AI-based tools

• Use of CAT tools or localization platforms in the work

• Work with: Jira/Confluence, Figma, Crowdin, MS Office, Google Workspace
