Ukrainian charity foundation "Voices of Children" announces a competition for the position of Local Coordinator in the city of Poltava.
Charitable foundation "Voices of Children" is a Ukrainian foundation that grew out of a volunteer initiative in 2015 in Eastern Ukraine. Our mission is to inspire and support children, to create conditions for children's voices to be heard, to support their resilience in the face of war. The Foundation implements its mission and aims to become an effective, sustainable and recognizable institution in the field of child support.
We are looking for a person who will help organize and coordinate the activities of the regional office of the Foundation, ensuring effective implementation of programs, support of beneficiaries and interaction with local partners and authorities.
The coordinator is the "face" of the Foundation on the ground, he broadcasts the values, standards and approaches of the Foundation to create trust and a positive image among beneficiaries and partners.
Requirements
Knowledge of the basics of project and operational management.
Experience with documentation, reports, budgets.
Basic knowledge in the field of social work / humanitarian programs.
Proficiency in Excel, CRM or similar systems.
English - preferably at B1 level (not mandatory).
Leadership and organization of team work.
Ability to build partnerships with local stakeholders.
Communicability and diplomacy.
Resolving conflicts and crisis situations.
Systematic, responsible, result oriented.
Emotional stability, ability to work in conditions of uncertainty.
Skills of facilitating group processes.
Ability to advocate the interests of children at the local level.
Planning and monitoring the implementation of programs and events.
Ensuring effective communication between head office and field team.
Interaction with local authorities, educational institutions, communities and partners.
Monitoring the needs of beneficiaries and transferring data to the head office.
Administrative support of the cell (premises, equipment, logistics).
Collection and preparation of reports on the activities of the cell.
Control of the use of resources (budget, humanitarian aid, etc.).
Ensuring compliance with child protection standards (Child Safeguarding Policy).
Risk management in the activity of the unit (security, reputational, financial).
Initiation of training, subtrhymes and supervision for the local team.
Promoting the development of innovative approaches in working with children (psychosocial activities, youth spaces, art and sports initiatives).
Ensuring the collection of impact stories (success stories, quotes, photos/videos upon consent).
Interaction with the media at the local level (in agreement with the central communication team).
