Project Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled LLM Engineer to join our dynamic team and contribute to cutting-edge projects involving Large Language Models (LLMs) and Natural Language Processing (NLP). The role involves designing, developing and optimizing AI models on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly using Vertex AI. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AI, machine learning, and prompt engineering, with a focus on enhancing system performance through innovative solutions.

• GCP Document AI

• GCP Pub/Sub Message Queuing

   

Key Responsibilities:

• Communication with Stakeholders: Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates;
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to integrate solutions;
• Performance Monitoring: Analyze system performance to identify improvement areas;
• Prompt Design and Optimization: Develop and refine prompts and workflows for Generative AI models;
• Model Evaluation and Optimization: Assess outputs from language models, identify improvement patterns, and iterate on workflows;

• Stay Updated with AI Trends: Keep abreast of the latest developments in Generative AI and NLP to incorporate best practices

   

Skills and Qualifications:

• LLM Fundamentals: Proficiency in understanding and applying LLMs in text generation tasks;
• Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in Python with experience in ML/NLP libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face Transformers, Langchain, Llamaindex);
• Experience: At least 3 years of work experience as an AI Prompt Engineer, Data Scientist, or similar role;
• GCP Vertex AI: Hands-on experience with GCP Vertex AI;
• Software Development: Experience in creating software solutions from scratch to production;
• ML Modelling and DevOps: Experience in ML modelling and DevOps practices;
• NLP Expertise: Familiarity with NLP concepts such as text preprocessing, tokenization, and semantic analysis;
• Performance Monitoring: Experience in monitoring and evaluating LLM performance;
• Prompt Engineering: Proven ability to craft effective prompts and workflows for Generative AI models;
• LLM Fine-Tuning: Experience with PEFT, RLHF, and distributed training;
• English Proficiency: Upper-Intermediate to C1 level proficiency in English (spoken, written, and reading);
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret model outputs, identify patterns, and make data-driven decisions;
• Collaborative Mindset: Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to evolving AI and NLP technologies;
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous in prompt design and model evaluation;

• Problem-solving Skills: Proven ability to troubleshoot and optimize AI model performance

   

Daily Tasks:

• Design, develop, train, and maintain GCP Vertex AI models for data classification and extraction;
• Work on NLP, Named Entity Recognition (NER), and document classification/separation;

• Engage in model design and training activities

   

Important:

• Candidate must have hands-on experience with GCP Vertex AI
