Functional Area: Information Technology (IT) Job Family: Engineering & Science Linux Expert for distribution development team You will be responsible for development and maintenance of an in-house Linux distribution environment , that serves as a foundation for projects aimed at specific business needs. This role is quite challenging due to combination of skills in: building and debugging​ of Linux Kernel, testing of embedded solutions, DevOps duties in addition to regular development tasks. If you possess the above and are not discouraged by challenging and sometimes tedious tasks, then this role is for you. You would join the international team of experienced professionals focused on providing clean architecture, performance management and working solution to the end customers. A successful candidate would be characterized by: Linux development skills (Administrator knowledge is not a must) Systems: Git, Yocto, Azure Languages: Bash, Python, C Experience in using GIT (clone, checkout, create branches/tags, resolve merge conflicts) Experience with building Yocto images and adapting Yocto recipes; rewriting, adding and removing tasks, applying patches and adapting recipe sources, etc. Writing bash and Python scripts for test automation Knowledge of embedded Linux filesystem and networking Ability to read and write Yaml files used for Azure DevOps Pipelines configuration Experience with test automation in embedded Linux Diligent and careful way of working Emphasis on wide amount of topics rather than narrow specialization Communicative mindset willing to talk to various stakeholders in the organization Functional Area: Information Technology (IT) Job Family: Engineering & Science Linux Expert for distribution development team You will be responsible for development and maintenance of an in-house Linux distribution environment , that serves as a foundation for projects aimed at specific business needs.
