Legal Support / Operations Specialist (Storyby) in SKELAR

SKELAR is a venture builder that builds international product IT companies according to the rules of the venture capital world. Together with co-founders, we gather strong teams to launch product IT businesses and win in global markets.

Storyby is a tech startup focused on finding young star authors and building a content ecosystem of books, audio and video adaptations. We open the world to authors in whom we see the potential to create bestsellers. We develop products so that new best-selling stories can be read, listened to and interacted with through a variety of content. Our products are currently in active scaling with positive unit economics, namely AlphaNovel and DramaShorts. We have a team of 44 professionals who are building the future of the 21st century world of publishing and content.

AlphaNovel
Transactional application with subscription, available on iOS and Android platforms , provide users with the ultimate short story reading and listening experience. Seamlessly integrated game mechanics along with a reward system increase user engagement and satisfaction. AlphaNovel is the flagship product with more than 12,000 writers and an active audience of over a million readers.

DramaShorts
An immersive iOS and Android app users in the bite-size entertainment world of video screenings in the Shorts format. Each adaptation is inspired by the best works of AlphaNovel. DramaShorts is currently in an active scaling phase with positive unit economics.

To strengthen our legal and compliance position, we are looking for a Compliance/Operations Specialist to join the Operations team and will help in building and improving the moderation, plagiarism and compliance processes of the AlphaNovel platform.

What challenges await:
- Building and improving the moderation and compliance processes of the AlphaNovel application;
—Development of SOPs and Playbooks on issues of moderation, evaluation and interaction with content;
—Checking content for compliance with the current requirements of AppleStore, PlayMarket, TikTok, Meta;
- DMCA & anti-plagiarism content check.

What is important to us:
- Written English B2/C1;
- Love of books and reading;
—0.5 to 1 year of experience in Support, Moderation or law firms/legal boutiques/big four/audit/finance;
—Systematic and structured;
—Attention to detail ;
— The possibility to visit the office in a smart hybrid format in Kyiv.

It will be a plus:
— Experience in communicating with clients/partners;
— Legal/business education.

We will be glad to meet proactive sweaters with corporate experience in support teams and content moderation.
