You will act as the primary liaison between the HR and Legal departments. This role involves reporting on a daily basis to both departments regarding document management and coordinating with legal teams based in different countries and offices.
Key Responsibilities
Contract Management:
- Draft, review, and maintain all legal related contracts, including employment agreements, nondisclosure agreements (NDAs), and other legal documents.
- Ensure contracts are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Track contract lifecycles and ensure timely renewals, amendments, and terminations.
- Maintain an organized digital and physical filing system for all contracts.
Legal Liaison:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all legal matters in collaboration with internal and external legal teams.
- Coordinate with lawyers in different offices to ensure consistency and compliance across jurisdictions.
- Assist in the preparation of legal documents, briefs, and reports.
- Manage communication between the HR department and legal counsel.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Monitor changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment together with legals.
- Ensure company policies and procedures comply with legal standards.
- Assist in internal audits and compliance checks as needed.
Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the HR and legal departments.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for legal consultations.
- Prepare and distribute reports, presentations, and correspondence.
Qualifications :
Education:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, Human Resources, or a related field.
Experience :
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Legal Assistant, Paralegal, or similar role.
- Experience in contract management and working with legal documents.
- Familiarity with HR practices and procedures is a plus.
Skills :
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Quickness and reporting.
