The L&D Specialist will be responsible for coordinating, implementing, and evaluating various learning and development programs to enhance the skills, knowledge, and capabilities of our employees.Program ManagementESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIESCoordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, venue or room bookings, and resource allocation.Ensure all training materials are prepared, distributed, and updated as needed in preparation for launches.Content DevelopmentCreate engaging and informative learning materials such as presentations, manuals, e-learning modules, and videos.Adapt existing training content or develop new content to meet the evolving needs of the organization.Facilitation And DeliveryConduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars using various delivery methods, including in-person, virtual, and blended learning approaches.Facilitate discussions, activities, and exercises to promote active learning and skill development.Performance SupportProvide ongoing support by answering questions, clarifying concepts, and offering guidance related to training content.Collaborate with L&D team to address performance gaps and identify opportunities for additional training or development interventions.Provide administrative support for engagement surveys, 24-Foundation and provide other support as assigned for Team Member programming.EvaluationAnalyze training data and metrics to measure the impact of learning initiatives and identify areas for improvement.Learning Technology ManagementManage the learning management system (LMS) or other learning technologies used to deliver and track training activities.Stay informed about emerging learning technologies and recommend innovative solutions to enhance the learning experience.Compliance And ReportingPrepare regular reports on training activities, attendance, completion rates, and other key performance indicators.ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPSThe Learning & Development Specialist will report directly to the Manager of Learning & Development and will work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.QualificationsRequired Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesProficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technologies.Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.Excellent interpersonal skills.Excellent communication skills; written, oral, and facilitation.Able to work on multiple projects under tight timelines.Flexible and adaptable - thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing business environment.Graphic design/visual storytelling.Able to learn new software or technology quickly.Able to work independently and with minimal supervision.Minimum Work Experience And QualificationsAt least 2-3 years of experience in learning and talent development, including areas such as learning technology, course development, and facilitation, and employee engagement.At least 2 years of experience in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.Travel RequirementLocal and domestic travel up to 15% of the time is required.For remote corporate support team members, must be located in California, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Texas or Florida within 50 miles of 24 Hour Fitness locations to facilitate occasional club visits.DISCLAIMER : This job description is intended to describe the general job functions and requirements for this position.
