TCHU is thousands of people all over Ukraine who make the world a better place every day. The leading specialist of the Department of Humanitarian Aid of the Department of Humanitarian Aid to the Population will be responsible for the correct distribution of aid in kind and/or cash to the population, communication and coordination with regional organizations of the TCHHU, exchange of information within the department with other coordinators, specialists and collection and processing of data and reporting, interaction between departments and departments within the TRC with the aim of improving the conditions for the distribution of aid, receiving aid by regional organizations, determining the conditions for issuing aid to the final beneficiary, as well as with regional organizations of the TRC for the purpose of exchanging information, promoting the targeted use of aid, which is received by regional organizations, to conduct correspondence within the framework of their powers with representatives of partners and donors, as well as with managers and specialists of regional organizations of TCHHU.

As part of the project activities, business trips to regional centers and local communities, communication with regional local military administrations, military formations of specified regions in order to effectively provide assistance to the population suffering as a result of hostilities.

Duties:

  • Technical support of the organizations of the TCHU in the regions assigned to the coordinator, as well as on request to other regions in the territory under the control of providing assistance to the population.
  • Monitoring visits to the organizations of the TCHU.
  • Coordination with Movement partners, other organizations, services, and local authorities operating on the ground regarding measures to provide assistance to the population.
  • Coordination and communication with employees of other departments and divisions of the TCHU at the national and regional levels . 
  • Support of personnel in the regions regarding the planning and organization of public assistance.
  • Training for the public assistance teams.
  • Collection and assessmentassessment of needs and additional information from TCHU organizations regarding the areas of activity of the Department for providing assistance to the population.
  • Control of reporting deadlines from TCHU organizations. 
  • Providing reports on the activities of the region to the Head of the Department on a quarterly basis. 
  • Performance of other tasks from the Head of the Department, related to the activities of the direction of providing assistance to the population.

Additional duties:

  • Contribute to reporting requirements by keeping records of daily activities, entering information into appropriate data collection tools and as required by supervisor;
  • Assist Head of Department and Divisions in day-to-day operations;
  • li>Conducting cooperation with regional and local organizations of the TCHHU;
  • Conducting cooperation with external organizations to promote the development and improvement of humanitarian and sanitary conditions among the population suffering as a result of military operations;  

Requirements: 

  • Higher education (humanities, psychology, project management).  
  • Minimum two years of experience working in humanitarian organizations is desirable.
  • Minimum two years of experience in interaction with state structures and humanitarian NGOs is desirable.
  • Skills in conducting educational trainings and presentations.
  • Microsoft software skills (Word, Excel, working with databases, e-mail).
  • Negotiation/collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge and management skills project activity (drafting of project applications, budgets, reports).
  • Driver's license (category B).  
  • Professional command of the Ukrainian language
  • Knowledge of the English language will be an advantage.
