Our mission is to defend the rights and well-being of refugees and other vulnerable groups in Ukraine and abroad.

We are looking for a Lead Cash Assistance Program Specialist for our international team!

The Cash Assistance Program Lead Specialist is primarily responsible for the preparation and implementation of registration and distribution of cash assistance in target communities, as well as for ensuring compliance with relevant SOPs. The Lead Cash Specialist plays a lead role in a specific geographic area and, under the direction of the Program Coordinator, is the first point of contact for local authorities and other NGOs working in the area.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Provide information and contribute to the development of technical recommendations at the request of the Cash Program Coordinator and the Cash Technical Manager
  • Manage the use, maintenance and technical support of databases used in the deduplication, referral and reporting processes, including data analysis and validation.
  • Support registration activities on the ground and participate in regular field monitoring and evaluation visits with field staff and in close coordination with partners and donors.
  • Represent the ERC at coordination and technical meetings meetings (CWG Working Groups, Housing Cluster, TWS Consortia), focusing on deduplication, referral and reporting.
  • Ensure effective coordination with project staff and other units within and outside the organization, implementing partners, sectors and other relevant parties.
  • Support the development of cash program guidelines and procedures, including standard operating procedures (SOP).
  • Consolidate daily updates on program implementation and other key issues.
  • Prepare accurate and evidence-based reports on ERC activities and results.
  • Evaluate project outcomes, including resource utilization and achievement of planned goals.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Relevant higher education (social work, humanities, etc.) or equivalent professional qualifications.
  • At least one year of experience in humanitarian cash assistance programs, including team management.
  • Willingness to learn and implement organizational policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate willingness to improve knowledge and skills by actively participating in any training and capacity building activities.
  • Ability to cope with stress and pressure, as well as maintain neutrality.
  • Personal qualities: organization, responsibility, analytical thinking, attention to details, flexibility, ability to self-learn, focus on results.
  • Knowledge of languages: Ukrainian, English.
