Leading specialist of rehabilitation teams in Red Cross Ukraine

The Red Cross Society of Ukraine (RCHU) announces a competition for the position of Leading specialist of specialized rehabilitation teams.

The Red Cross Society The Cross of Ukraine is the largest humanitarian organization in Ukraine, which is one of the first to respond to all emergency situations in the country and provides assistance to those who need it most.

Main duties:

• Ensuring the organization and monitoring the provision of services for rehabilitation, which will be provided by Mobile Rehabilitation Teams
• Participation in planning, implementation of work targets, their list, compliance control, coordination of interregional specialists, provision/formation of reports.
• Ensuring the organization and control of the work of interregional coordinators, MRC workers.
• Control of rehabilitation activities in communities, their compliance with international standards and recommendations. Development of provisions on the MRC.
• Participation in the development of new and adaptation (modernization) of existing algorithms/instructions/recommendations/SOPs for employees, volunteers in the organization of rehabilitation services, joint development of methodology and protocols with partners.
• Ensuring proper and timely performance of assigned tasks.
• Providing relevant information and explanations other structural divisions, partners on issues related to the rehabilitation project within the Ukrainian Red Cross and partners in the Red Cross and Red Crescent movement.
• Control of project implementation, monitoring and reporting at all stages, training and ensuring it according to quality standards.
• Regular monitoring visits to regional and local organizations for supervision according to the quality of the programs, providing feedback to regional employees and volunteers.

Requirements for the candidate:

• Higher education (bachelor's degree and higher) in the field of management, security health.
• Additional training in project management and coordination.
• At least one year of experience in the implementation, coordination and management of humanitarian projects.
• Experience in humanitarian/international organizations is preferred.
• Understanding how a project is implemented and the project life cycle (initiation, planning project implementation analysis and control, data collection and analysis, project completion).
• Planning and control of project implementation. Monitoring and reporting on all stages of training implementation and ensuring it meets quality standards.
• Fluent command of the Ukrainian language.
• Proficiency in English at the minimum B2 level will be an advantage.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to cooperate and work in a team.
• Ability to accept solutions.
• Skills of cooperation with the departmentnotaries/contractors, local organizations.
• Ability to apply non-standard/innovative solutions at work.
• Ability to build trust.

The purpose of the position:To ensure the organization and control of rehabilitation services provided by Mobile Rehabilitation Teams. It is necessary to take part in strategic planning, implementation of target indicators of work, their list, monitoring of compliance, coordination of interregional specialists, provision/formation of reporting. We expect that the candidate will participate in the development of new and adaptation (modernization) of existing algorithms/instructions/recommendations/SOPs for employees, volunteers in the organization of rehabilitation services, joint development of methodology and protocols with partners.
