Leading Specialist in Ternopilska oblasna organizaciya Tovaristva Chervonogo Hresta Ukrayini

Ternopil regional organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine is looking for a specialist in providing humanitarian aid to the population in its team.

Responsibilities:

-planning and organization of the distribution process at distribution points for individuals and legal entities;

- planning and training of employees and volunteers of the district, city and city-district organization on the organization of distribution and reporting;

- collection of needs and control of reporting from city and district organizations of the TCHHU within their region;

- holding meetings with district and city organizations of the TCHHU to inform about changes in distribution and updates in the document flow and general support of activities;

- cooperation with warehouse staff to plan the process of distribution and shipment of aid for distribution to vulnerable categories of the population;

- cooperation with the accounting department on the preparation of reports and processing of information related to distribution and providing assistance to the population;

- checking of documentation and reporting on the results of the issuance of assistance in responding to emergency situations (emergency assistance issuance). 

- cooperation with volunteers in providing assistance to the population.  

- organization of field distributions. 

Requirements:

- higher education;

- experience of working as a teacher, conducting trainings;

- experience of working or cooperating with humanitarian organizations ;

- experience of work or cooperation in the field of civil protection;

- experience of working with databases;

- experience of working with beneficiaries.

Necessary knowledge and skills:

- skills of Word, Excel, PowerPoint;

- skills of graphic editors;

- having a driver's license;

- excellent communication skills;

- experience in communication with different categories of people, tact and diplomacy;

- ability to learn quickly, attentiveness;

- ability to prepare and issue reports;

- compliance with the principle of confidentiality of information;

- command of Ukrainian and English languages.
