Lead Tunnel Designer (F/M/X) in Jacobs

Main responsibilities:

• Delivering tunnels design,
• Managing own tunnel projects,
• Leading and mentoring another specialist in a team, 
• Develop networks with global technology leaders for tunnels, 
• Ensure that quality control plans are followed, incorporation of health and safety into design,  
• Tracking of project programs and delivery dates,
• Technical reviews and checking,
• Building relations with contractors and clients, both external and internal,
• Participation in foreign business trips;

Requirements: 

• Master in relevant accredited engineering degree,   
• Experience of leading multi-disciplinary projects, 
• Relevant experience gained within a design office, particularly in the field of Tunnel/Geotechnical design, analysis, assessment, inspection and reports,
• Very good command of English, 
• Good presentation skills,
• Data analysis and communication skills, 
• Experience in writing technical reports and presentations;
