We are looking for a self-starter, result-oriented and independent individual. The candidate will perform functional testing such as regression, smoke, new feature testing amongst others. The team uses Nest.js, Next.js, Docker and Kubernetes (Terraform). Project with advanced usage of encryption, digital signatures. Blockchain, PDF processing, message queues and async background tasks. Tests (unit, API). Expectations:• Lead the development and maintenance of manual and automated tests for product functionality.• Create, oversee, and ensure the execution of detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.• Provide suggestions on architecture and software development & delivery process improvements. • Drive test development, estimation, planning, execution, reporting, and closure.• Test & execute product releases in collaboration with DevOps.• Collaborate closely with engineers and product management, taking an active leadership role in the development process.• Conduct continuous research on best quality testing tools and methodologies.Required knowledge & experienceBachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a relevant experience. • 5+ years of experience in quality assurance and software testing. • 3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation.• Automation Skills:o Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.• Solid experience with Playwright or similar framework. • Advanced experience in testing Methodologies: o of various (e.g., functional, regression, performance, and load testing).o both manual and automated testing approaches.• Version Control: Familiarity with version control systems like Git.• Web Technologies: Experience testing web applications, including a solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web browsers.• API Testing: Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured) and experience testing RESTful and SOAP APIs.• Test Case Design:o Ability to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts and test cases.o Experience in creating and maintaining test documentation.• Database Knowledge: Basic knowledge of database systems and SQL.• Agile/Scrum:o Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.• Testing Tools:o Familiarity with other testing tools and frameworks as needed by thespecific project (e.g., Jira, TestRail).• Experience with Chrome DevTools • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):o experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.• English language: Upper-intermediate level or higher is a must. Candidate must have effective communication skills to collaborate with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders.
