Our client is a Tel Aviv-based startup visual data management platform designed to scale to a billion images and videos. They created a popular free tool providing basic but highly scalable building blocks for visual data. e.g., finding duplicates, identifying outliers, clustering, searching, image statistics, and detecting bad labels. The company built a system without relying on expensive GPUs to analyze hundreds of millions of images and automatically find potential issues within these datasets. They are building a single access layer for all visual data, allowing users to easily explore, search, and organize vast amounts of unstructured images and videos. The solution leverages a proprietary graph engine built for graph analytics & search on an enormous scale of data. The cutting-edge platform empowers organizations in government, defense, and Fortune 500 enterprises to unlock insights and explore, manage, and search massive amounts of visual data like never before. The Lead Automation Engineer will create and implement a test automation infrastructure and expand test coverage. This role is pivotal in optimizing the efficiency and reliability of our products in a dynamic startup environment. The project is a tool for data scientists and analysts. Duration: A minimum 6-month project with a long-term goal if it goes well.RequirementsProficiency in automation tools and programming languages such as Python, Selenium, and similar.Expertise in CI/CD tools and platforms such as Git Actions.Proven experience in building test automation frameworks and test coverage from the ground up.Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems independently.Strong ability to synthesize and maintain complex test data corpus.Understanding scaling and optimizing test automation systems so they can run thousands of tests in a set period.Experience building functional and non-functional testing suites, such as load and performance testing.An impact-driven, feedback-oriented mindset aims to improve product quality and reliability.Excellent communication skills to report progress and challenges effectively.Agile and adaptable, capable of managing multiple tasks and adjusting strategies in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop a robust test automation infrastructure from scratch.Create comprehensive test coverage for various data-driven applications and systems.Work autonomously as the sole test automation engineer, liaising directly with the product management, data science, and engineering teams to align automation strategies with business goals.We OfferUS and EU projects based on advanced technologies.Competitive compensation based on skills and experience.Annual performance appraisals.Flexibility in workspace, either remote or in one of our development offices.
