This role is key in supporting our commitment to excellence in care delivery, providing leadership and creating a supportive and professional environment for our nursing staff.Responsibilities: Coordinate and direct the day-to-day activities of the home nursing services, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards company policies.Conduct patient needs assessments, develop care plans, and monitor implementation of these plans to ensure effective patient care.Manage, mentor, and support nursing staff, promoting ongoing professional development and adherence to best nursing care practices.Facilitate communication between patients, family members and nursing staff to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care. Manage staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage of all clients, taking into account the complexity of care needs and staff experience. Participate in the recruitment, training and evaluation of nursing staff, developing a culture of self-improvement and empathy. Supervise administering medications, performing procedures, and using medical equipment, ensuring patient safety and quality of care. Liaise with health care providers, outside agencies, and community resources to advocate for the needs of clients and their families. Implement quality improvement initiatives to increase service delivery and patient satisfaction. Requirements: Registered Nurse with valid nursing license. Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, of which at least 2 years in a leadership or management position, preferably in a home care setting. Strong leadership qualities, ability to motivate and lead a team of healthcare professionals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, compassionate approach to patient care. Medical record keeping skills and use of electronic health care systems. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and make informed decisions in a dynamic environment.
