AMO Apps is currently looking for a Lead QA Engineer (Web) for our Health & Fitness apps to influence the management and development of our Manual QA team, processes and develop technically as a QA Engineer.

This job is for you if you want to:

• Do Manual Web testing (from 20% of the time)< /li>
• Manage Manual QA team
• Allocate Manual QA team resources, set priorities, etc.
• Communicate with different teams on the project
• Influence, correct and set up processes
• Mentor and set up appropriate development processes for specialists in the team, develop technically independently

What you will achieve in this position:

• You will deal with the full cycle of People Management Manual QA of a team of 9 people (1:1 conducting, drawing up PDP, setting priorities in the team, supporting the team)
• You will communicate with other AMO teams, influence to the business from the QA side
• You will work with process adjustments, team development plans
• You will grow as a manager and a technical specialist in working with the Web part of our applications
• You will be able to develop , work and participate in the development of microservice architecture, Kubernetes, AWS, Kafka, full-fledged CI/CD, etc.

For this you will need:

• Experience in QA for more than 4 years
• Experience in the position of Lead for more than 1 year (conducting 1:1, setting up team processes, drafting PDP)
• Experience in API testing, DB, with HTTP, REST, git, JSON
• Working with Docker, understanding log aggregation systems (kibana, grafana, etc), CI tools (GitHub Actions/GitLab CI/Jenkins etc)
< li>Experience with Kubernetes, Kafka or RabbitMQ will be a plus

Your manager will be Valentyn, our Tech lead QA team, who has been in QA for about 8 years and more 3 years in AMO. I came to the company as an Automation QA and became the team leader in just 3 months. Valentin is currently responsible for the management of Manual and Automation QA teams, as well as directly for test automation, debugging and CI/CD support, selection and implementation of new technologies and processes. Sometimes Valentin develops small web/console solutions that automate routine processes in the team. Valentin is looking for a person in the team who believes that QA is first of all an engineer and not just a "tester", knows how to think critically, likes to immerse himself in related topics and is able to work without micromanagement from the manager, independently and efficiently organize his working time.
