We are hiring a team of engineers for API integrations and are looking for a  Lead Software Development Engineer with expertise in Java . The client is the leading shipping platform for retail and e-commerce. We seek strong developers with extensive experience in API integration, particularly with public APIs. The expected project duration is 6 months.

We welcome hiring in Ukraine , offering the flexibility to work remotely.

Team composition: 4-6 Software Development Engineers, including a team lead.

Technology stack:

• Java15, Spring Boot, JUnit
• API: REST\JSON, OAUTH, Postman
• DB: Postgres, MongoDB
• Cloud: AWS core services
• Process: JIRA, Confluence
• CI\CD: Gitlab

Requirements:

• 5 + years of experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Strong background in API design and integrations (REST, OAuth, Postman, etc.).
• Experience with JUnit for testing.
• Familiarity with AWS core services.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a development team.

Nice to Have:

• Expertise in PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD.
• Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence for project management and documentation.

Communication: be available until 10-11 am PST

Interview steps:

Tech interview, meeting with resource manager, client`s interview (just for Lead role).
