Lead iOS Developer (Gambling/Betting/Utilities) in SoftTeam

SoftTeam is looking for a Lead iOS Developer for our internal project SmartApps, which develops iOS applications for Affiliate Marketing in the Gambling, Betting and Utilities niches.

Place of work: Remote, with the possibility of transition to hybrid or permanent work in one of our offices in Ukraine or Poland after 1-3 months of successful cooperation. 
 

Role: We are looking for an experienced leader with expertise in the Gambling, Betting and Utilities niches and team management experience. The position involves developing unique iOS applications and leading a development team.
 

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of iOS development experience.
• Experience in creating applications for Gambling, Betting and Utilities.
• Knowledge of Apple application guidelines and requirements.
• Practical experience optimizing development workflows (including process automation development/testing, rapid refactoring, module template creation).
• Experience with at least two of the following stacks: Flutter, React Native, Swift, Unity.
• Ability to create more than 12 mobile of applications per month (minimum KPI for such applications).
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a development team leader.
• High leadership qualities.
• Proactive and autonomous approach to work.
• Knowledge of how to conduct research on relevant verticals (where to get examples of games, palettes, resources and applications).
   

Obov' Responsibilities:

• Team management: Participation in the search, selection and onboarding of developers (preparation of test tasks, onboarding materials and process control). Management of the development team, including training and solving blockers.
• Application development: Either independent application development or creating templates and frameworks for the team.

• Process improvement and automation: Continually introducing improvements to the team's work at all stages, in addition to the execution of standard tasks.

< strong>Development Team Workflow: The job consists of processing development orders from our internal job board, which is updated 2 to 4 times per month. Each order contains a brief with a description of functionality, thematic instructions, design and additional details for implementation. Completed applications are tested by a responsible manager and sent to the Apple Store for moderation. Apps may need refactoring based on feedback from Apple Store moderation.
 

Tools: All work is done using the ClickUp task management system.

Format of work: Initially remote, with the possibility of switching to hybrid or permanent work in our offices within 1-3 months of successful work.
