Lead Data Scientist| The Python Developer in our team will be engaged in the following tasks:

• Leading and mentoring a team of data scientists, providing recommendations and support to ensure successful project execution and professional development;
• Planning and distribution of work in the team, control of execution;
• Facilitating the development and implementation of advanced machine learning algorithms and statistical models for extracting actionable conclusions from large data sets;
• Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand key objectives and translate them into analytical solutions that deliver measurable business value;
• Developing and conducting experiments to test hypotheses and creating forecasting algorithms;
• Development of services on the balance of the team in cooperation with the architect and business analysts;
• Implementing and maintaining good software development practices, such as coding conventions and code review;
• Helping to eliminate malfunctions and training on how to prevent them from occurring in the future;
• Conducting knowledge tests, developing tests for self-control and for hiring needs;
• Participation in interviews with candidates for the team, assessment of the level of knowledge and expertise;
• Providing regular feedback to team members;
• Conducting regular team meetings;
• Approval of vacations, sick leave, time off, overtime in the team and correction of current plans.

The filter for this position will be:

• 5 years of proven experience in a data science role, with a track record of effective seam solutionsto a changing environment.
• To be a business person, to have a sense of responsibility for the entrusted sphere and to treat it as one's brainchild, to be demanding of the team, but fair, to set goals, to control their implementation, to control the workload of people, to systematically raise the level of qualifications in the team;
• Team management experience: work organization, motivation, maintaining discipline, delegation and performance control, feedback exchange, leadership;
• Knowledge of probability theory and the ability to create applications based on this theory;
• Practical experience with Python (numpy, pandas, etc.) from 3 years;
• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling methods and experimental design principles;
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for solving complex analytical tasks;
• Loyalty to DevOps practices and experience in their application: development automation and quality assurance tools, monitoring, tracing and debugging;
• Strive to improve existing solutions and develop new ones, look for growth points;
• Willingness to share knowledge with engineers and be able to convey it.
