Lead Chatbot Developer / Architect @ hubQuest in hubQuest

Currently we are looking for a highly skilled Lead Chatbot Developer / Architect as we are supporting our partner in developing Business Intelligence team within Global Process Management unit. The team is developing new global generative AI chatbot solutions that will help Operating Companies (OpCos) to run their daily operations smoothly.

Over the past years, the Global Functions - Supply Chain, Commerce, Finance, Procurement and IT - have worked together to create a common set of core processes, embedded in a standard ERP system. These were delivered to OpCos (Operating Companies) in Africa, Middle East, Asia Pacific and the Carribean under one programme. The Global Process Management organisation now supports these OpCos in Business-as-Usual mode to help them continuously adhere to these process standards and improve on their performance.

You are a good candidate if:

• You have Power Platform and Azure AI certifications
• You have experience with Azure, Azure App Services, and Azure Cognitive Services
• You have development skills (5+ years in IT) and experience (2 years minimum) in bots / AI solutions with one of the following platforms: Microsoft Bot Framework and Power Virtual Agents (MS Power Platform), Cognitive Services, or experience with Oracle Digital Assistant / Teneo Conversational AI Platform / Google Dialogflow
• You have experience with .NET C#
• You have experience with REST (and similar) API integrations, manipulation, and usage of data
• You have experience and/or some understanding of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and how to utilize it
• You have experience working with Git and Azure DevOps
• You have awareness of test management and deployments of chatbot / conversational AI solutions, so these can be automated (CI/CD pipelines)
• You have experience with connecting / integrating with backend systems from chatbot development perspective
• You have excellent communication skills (both verbal and in writing): ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical people
• You are analytically and quantitatively strong, highly structured
• You are a team player and are able to work effectively at all levels of the product teams with the ability to influence others to move towards consensus
• You are able to identify and understand multiple stakeholder perspectives and "truths" and bring open mind to understanding and building on the views of others

Nice to have:

• Awareness of emerging technologies, industry trends, and the ability to evaluate them for applicability
• Experience working in a federated enterprise organization
• Experience with React / TypeScript / JavaScript
• Experience with integrations with large ERPs and CRMs
• Experience of programming with SQL queries
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment
• Good understanding of related technologies such as Machine Learning

,[designing, developing and implementing chatbot solutions using various platforms and technologies such as Microsoft Bot Framework, Power Virtual Agents, Cognitive Services, etc., collaborating closely with the Business Intelligence team within the Global Process Management unit to conceptualize, design, and implement innovative chatbot solutions aligned with the overarching business objectives, leading the architectural design of chatbot solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and provide technical insights on chatbot implementation strategies, working in conjunction with Global Functions - Supply Chain, Commerce, Finance, Procurement, and IT - to integrate chatbots with core processes embedded in ERP systems, facilitating seamless data exchange and process automation, mentoring and guiding junior developers within the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation in chatbot development, integrating chatbots with backend systems and third-party APIs to enable seamless functionality, participating in code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices, managing the deployment and testing of chatbot solutions, including automation of CI/CD pipelines, monitoring the performance of deployed chatbots and implementing optimizations as needed, staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to chatbots and conversational AI, contributing to the overall technical strategy and roadmap for chatbot development within the organization]
